Life is pure when life is swell It’s not that hard to really tell Life is sweet when life is grand It seems so simple yet, no one understands Now I’m lost… Where was I? It must have slipped my, It must have slipped my (mind…) So forgetful... I can’t seem to remember Where was I? Life is pain when life is hell But is it really? It’s so hard to tell Life is hate when life is shit No more pieces now seem to fit Life is is hurt when life is frail Broken dreams and decaying fairy tales Life is nothing, nothing at all No one listens and no one calls Now I’m lost, once again… How is it that this is where I always (end?) So forgetful... I never seem to remember Where was I? All of this now has become so worthless All the cliches have all lost their focus I have and stumbled and slipped all over nothing Now can you just please tell me one thing? Was this all that I was good for? Do you know? Can you even concur? Are you certain? Or just not sure? None of this effort seems worth it anymore I wish I knew what to tell… But even if I could, I know that I never would. Because it is, the best kept secret…
